Wendy Wahito’s Pan Seared Chicken With An Orange Squeeze Glaze
INGREDIENTS:
- 5-6 CHICKEN LEGS (however many you like)
- 2 large onions (sliced round)
- 2 large oranges (squeezed)
- Salt
- Black pepper
- 2 tablespoons of Sesame oil
DIRECTIONS:
In a large skillet, heat up the sesame oil and place the chicken legs, make sure they are completely defrosted, if not boil them for 10-15mins.
Make sure you keep turning the chicken legs until they brown on each side evenly for about 20 mins. Then put in the onions and sauté till they brown for 5mins.
Pour in the orange juice onto the chicken legs and turn them once or twice. Place the chicken in the serving bowl. To add some color you can grate the orange rind for some garnish.
